Welcome to Chames Collection. These terms set out the basis on which you may use our website and place orders with us. By browsing the site or buying from us, you agree to them, so please take a moment to read through.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Chames Collection, and "you" and "your" refer to you, our customer.
2. Using our site
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use it in any way that damages the site, disrupts its operation, or infringes the rights of others.
We do our best to keep the site available and its content accurate, but we can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or entirely error-free.
3. Products and availability
Our teas are made in small runs, so from time to time a blend may be temporarily out of stock. We reserve the right to withdraw or change products at any time.
We take care to describe and photograph our teas accurately, though colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.
4. Pricing
All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery costs, where they apply, are shown separately at checkout.
We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders we've already accepted. Should an obvious pricing error occur, we're not obliged to fulfil an order at the incorrect price and will let you know before proceeding.
5. Orders and acceptance
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We'll send an email acknowledging your order, but this is confirmation of receipt, not acceptance.
A contract between us is formed only once we dispatch your order and send a dispatch confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, if an item is unavailable or we're unable to authorise payment — in which case we'll refund any amount already paid.
6. Payment
Payment is handled securely through our payment gateway. We don't store your full card details. By placing an order, you confirm that the payment method used is your own or that you're authorised to use it.
7. Delivery
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms and does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law. Where any term conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including our name, logo, text, photography, packaging designs and product descriptions — belongs to Chames Collection or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use any of it for commercial purposes without our written consent.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Please see our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use and protect your data.
12. Third-party links
Our site may link to other websites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices, and including a link doesn't mean we endorse them.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our products. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that can't lawfully be limited — including liability under the Consumer Protection Act.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
